Chandra Babu Naidu Drives the First Car of KIA.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu was always there in the hunt of investors for developing the state. One such who laid their landmark was by KIA motors who constructed a manufacturing unit in Anantapur.
KIA motors and state of registered their landmark by launching first motor vehicle from Anantapur Plant. KIA’s SP2i, their new flagship car, is the newly launched trial car from the state. With this launch KIA motors likely to open a platform for tuning their manufacturing and technologies in INDIA. KIA SP2i is said to have standards equalling to Indian requirements.
The launching ceremony took place in Anantapur plant, in the presence of honourable AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu and Mr.Shin Bongkil ambassador of the Republic of Korea to INDIA. The ceremony guest list included Mr Han-Woo Park, President & CEO of Kia Motors Corporation also Mr Kookhyun Shim, Managing Director and CEO of Kia Motors India.
With support to the Andhra Pradesh Government KIA brought out the electric vehicle naming KIA soul EV under Future mobility partnership which took place between the two. The partnership builds the bond by KIA showing its commitment to support the government of the state by promoting electric vehicles.
KIA’s new manufacturing plant is built on 536 acres with 300000 units manufacturing capability annually. The plant is mostly run by 300 robots automating the press, body and paint shows. The plant is well equipped with AI and high-end robotic technologies.
KIA’s role of playing in sustainable and mutually beneficial production values consisted of using environmentally conscious techniques, which included 100% water recycling. KIA is even working towards the ecological and societal needs of the community.
