Chandrababu Naidu Criticizes YSRCP's Five-Year Rule, Vows Development for Andhra Pradesh
Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and TDP supremo, N. Chandrababu Naidu, has expressed his concern about the state's backwardness in terms of development due to the inefficient governance of the YSRCP over the past five years. Speaking at two public meetings during the 'Ra Kadalira' campaign in Tiruvuru, NTR district, and Achanta, West Godavari district, Naidu didn't mince words in his criticism of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's leadership.
Naidu took a swipe at Reddy, suggesting that a whole generation of Telugu people had suffered due to a leader who, in his metaphorical critique, couldn't differentiate between a tomato and a potato. He accused the YSRCP government of causing significant setbacks, including keeping Andhra Pradesh without a capital for five years. Naidu argued that while Hyderabad in neighboring Telangana thrived in development, Amaravati, the envisioned capital of Andhra Pradesh, lost its luster due to the YSRCP's policy of three capitals.
Naidu assured the public that the ambiguity regarding the state's capital would be resolved within three months, with Amaravati remaining the sole capital. He pledged that a TDP-Jana Sena government, once in power, would implement the "super six guarantees" for the benefit of all sections of society.
Naidu also criticized Reddy for failing to fulfill promises related to job calendars and complete liquor prohibition. He concluded that the Chief Minister lacked the moral authority to seek votes again, citing his failure to keep these promises. Naidu promised a TDP-Janasena manifesto soon, focusing on the state's development without neglecting the welfare of the underprivileged.
