Chandrababu Naidu Pledges to Revitalize Andhra Pradesh, Criticizes YSRCP's Regressive Rule
N. Chandrababu Naidu, the national president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), didn't mince words as he addressed the public during the 'Raa Kadali Raa' campaign in Tiruvuru and Achanta. He sharply criticized the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) and its Chief Minister, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, attributing Andhra Pradesh's backward slide of thirty years to their governance over the past five years.
Naidu rebuked the YSRCP for leaving Andhra Pradesh without a proper capital for half a decade, while he pointed out the impressive progress Hyderabad, the capital of neighboring Telangana, has made. He particularly slammed the YSRCP's decision to experiment with three capitals, which he believes has hindered Amaravati's growth.
The former Chief Minister was emphatic that Amaravati would remain the capital under his leadership, promising that the TDP-Jana Sena Party (JSP) alliance would concentrate on its development once elected. He assured the public that they would implement the "super six guarantees" immediately upon taking office, focusing on the welfare of all citizens.
Naidu called out Jagan Mohan Reddy for not delivering on his promises, like the yearly job calendar and complete liquor prohibition, questioning the Chief Minister's credibility. He stressed the urgency of ending the YSRCP's rule, citing issues such as law and order breakdown, farmer suicides, and stagnation in various sectors.
Lastly, Naidu promised that there would be no electricity tariff hikes under the TDP-JSP alliance and urged voters to make a thoughtful choice in the upcoming elections, cautioning against granting the YSRCP a second term in power.
In summary, N. Chandrababu Naidu pledged to reinvigorate Andhra Pradesh and criticized the YSRCP's governance as regressive and detrimental to the state's progress.
