Chandrababu Naidu Presents 'Charge-Sheet' on Unfulfilled Promises, Labels Jagan Mohan Reddy as Incompetent Chief Minister
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president, N. Chandrababu Naidu, didn't mince words as he addressed the Telugu Desam Legislature Party (TDLP) on the eve of the Budget session's commencement on February 4. During the meeting at his residence, he released what he termed a "charge-sheet" focusing on Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's alleged failure to fulfill his promises to the people.
Naidu asserted that Jagan Mohan Reddy would ultimately face the consequences of "deceiving the public with false assurances" and added that history would remember him as an "incompetent Chief Minister."
Naidu emphasized that Jagan Mohan Reddy had garnered voter support in the 2019 elections by making an array of commitments but had failed to deliver on them. He pointed out that out of the 730 promises made in his party's manifesto and during his Praja Sankalpa Yatra, only around 21% had been fulfilled. Despite this, the CM was claiming a 99% success rate, a move Naidu believes would be judged by the people in the upcoming elections.
Notable TDP figures, including State president K. Atchannaidu and Legislative Council Leader of the Opposition Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, participated in the discussions.
