Chandrababu Naidu Slams CM Jagan for Unfulfilled Promises
TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, accusing him of failing to deliver on seven significant promises made to the people of Andhra Pradesh. Speaking at public meetings in Raptadu and Sathya Sai districts, Naidu questioned Jagan's track record on crucial pledges such as securing special category status for AP and completing the Polavaram project.
Naidu highlighted Jagan's unmet commitments, including the suspension of the comprehensive pension scheme, implementation of liquor prohibition, and the introduction of a yearly job calendar. He also criticized the lack of progress on mega DSC (District Selection Committee) and the reduction of power tariffs.
Dismissing Jagan's claim of fulfilling 90% of his promises as a bluff, Naidu challenged the chief minister to be accountable to the people for his failures. He particularly called out Jagan's pre-election vow to enforce liquor prohibition, questioning his legitimacy in seeking votes for the upcoming elections despite the unfulfilled promise over the past five years.
As the political rhetoric intensifies ahead of the elections, Naidu's critique underscores growing dissatisfaction with Jagan's governance and raises pertinent questions about accountability and electoral promises.
