Chandrababu Naidu's Return: Andhra CM Oath on June 12 - What It Means for AP
N Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), will be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on June 12 at 4:55 pm.
This announcement was made by TDP leader K Raghu Rama Krishna Raju. He expressed that this is a significant moment for the people of Andhra Pradesh, especially with Prime Minister Narendra Modi showing appreciation for local leaders Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan.
Raju emphasized that the state requires substantial support from the central government, given the damages caused by the former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. However, he clarified that TDP is not demanding specific ministries in PM Modi's cabinet, stating that Naidu values good relationships over making demands.
Meanwhile, N Chandrababu Naidu praised Narendra Modi, calling him the "right leader at the right time" for India. Naidu affirmed TDP's support for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and proposed Modi's name for the Prime Minister's post. He highlighted Modi's vision of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Viksit Bharat," stressing that this is a golden opportunity for India.
Naidu spoke highly of Modi's leadership and the progress India has made under his administration in the past ten years. He urged that missing this opportunity could mean a significant loss for the nation.
Naidu also compared Modi's vision to that of the late NT Rama Rao, a former Andhra Chief Minister and TDP founder, who believed in humanism. He concluded by expressing pride in proposing Modi's name for the Prime Minister and reinforcing the strong relationship between TDP and NDA.
