Chidambaram wants immediate resignation of the governor and NITI Aayog Chairman!
Election commission (EC) has given a warning to Governor Kalyan Sing and NITI Ayog Chairman Rajiv Kumar for their remarks passed, which were a violation of model code of conduct. The remarks were passed while addressing in one of the speeches made at the rallies which were organized for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2019.
Chidambaram, Congress leader and former finance minister called for their immediate resignation and also that they have no right to remain in office after they received a warning from EC.
NITI Aayog chairman Rajiv Kumar had received the warning from SC on Friday for passing unpleasant remarks against the NYAY Scheme proposed by Congress. The scheme promises of a minimum income to 20 percent household of 72,000Rs annually, Kumar added that this scheme is a trick of Congress and that they (Congress) would do anything to win the elections.
However, Congress president Rahul Gandhi narrated that the NYAY scheme is a revolutionary idea, and will surely implement when they come into power.
Meanwhile, Governor Kalyan Singh, remarked straight away that PM Modi is one of the prime minister, whom everyone wants to win. In order for India to progress PM like Modi is extremely necessary, and that he himself is BJP worker, and wants the PM Modi to be elected again. This remark stirred the controversy and a member of the poll wrote a letter in this reference to President Ramnath Kovind.
This season of election is definitely a roller-coaster ride in terms of the remarks and accusations. It defiantly an eye watcher.
