Chief Ministers’ Views After The Video Session With PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today had a video conference meeting with Chief ministers of different states to make some important decisions over the pandemic situation, most importantly about the lockdown period.
Chief ministers of different states attended the session and all are seemingly content with the decision their PM has taken. However, the official announcement is yet to be made by PM Modi.
Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan took to Twitter and agreeing to the Modi, wrote,” Attended a video conferencing session with the Hon'ble @PMOIndia Shri. @narendramodi and the Chief Ministers of other Indian States. We had a comprehensive discussion on the #COVID19 situation. India will stand together in this battle against the pandemic,”
Chief Minister of Karnataka B.S Yediyurappa also attended the video meet along with his cabinet gatherings and also had a word with PM Modi on some vital strategies and actions to be implemented in the state.
Delhi’s chief minister and his Punjab counterpart Amarinder Singh suggested PM Modi to extend the lockdown dates. Arvind Kejriwal on his Twitter handle wrote,” PM has taken correct decision to extend lockdown. Today, India’s position is better than in many developed countries because we started lockdown early. If it is stopped now, all gains would be lost. To consolidate, it is imp to extend it”.
Amarinder Singh wrote,” Had the VC with the PM @NarendraModi Ji to discuss the future action plan to fight #Covid19. Reiterated need for ramping up testing facilities as well as sought Centre’s support for assisting the poor in today’s challenging times along with a bonus for our farmers”.
