China’s Terms for Ban Rejected-India
India’s diplomatic win became sour after China laid its terms, on the decision of listing of Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Masood Azhar as a global terrorist. According to China, India had to commit not to attack Pakistan and reduce the intensity of the tension caused after the Pulwama terror attack.
China stated that if India agreed to this condition, Beijing offered to lift its technical hold on the ban of listing Azhar as a global terrorist. India, however, did not agree, after February attack when 40 Jawans were killed and Jaish claimed the responsibility, the rising anger could not allow PM Modi to sit quietly, and he declared that the attack would go unpunished.
The self-defense attack by India on Balakot was supported and acknowledged by most of the Global community as it was the right of India for self-protection. This made very clear that when it comes to the matter related to Indian Military and their safety India would never compromise.
