Cm Jagan Holds Meeting On Current COVID-19 Situation

As the number of Coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh continues to shoot up, Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held a review meeting in this regard with the concerned officials to discuss on the current situation in the state and ways to tackle it.
As per the reports, Jagan took up the issue related to protest in Kurnool wherein they protested against the cremation of COVID 19 patient who succumbed due to the virus.
Hearing on this, CM ordered DGP Gautam Sawang to take strict actions on those who create problems in cremation of the patients. He also said that behavior of such kind is totally unacceptable.
CM Jagan said, “Don’t panic with Coronavirus and don’t treat COVID 19 infected as untouchables. The virus can be cured by taking proper medicines and treatments. So many patients are being discharged from the hospitals. Without getting recovered how can they get discharged? Please don’t spread fake news and create fears”.
Meanwhile, in AP, with 71 new cases, the tally went high to 1403 today. While 321 patients have recovered from COVID-19 and 31 lost their lives due to it.
