Congress Senior Leader Car Attacked
Congress senior leader and former Nizamabad MP Madhu Yashki's car was attacked by unknown people. This incident has happened when he was on the way to Nizamabad to cast his vote tomorrow.
Madhu Yashki was travelling in his Ford Endeavour and his convoy was following him in Toyota Innova. Though Yashki was safe, his convoy was attacked.
The rear windshield of Yashki's Ford Endeavour and the front windshield of the Innova were broken and the glasses of windshield were shattered.
As per the media reports, some Congress workers and leaders have attacked Yashki's car for denying ticket to their leader.
Congress ticket aspirant Komireddy Ramulu followers allegedly stopped Yashki's convoy and started argument, saying Yashki and others in Congress have sold out the party tickets.
After knowing this, TRS party workers reached the spot and tried to corner Yashki for carrying money bags in his car to distribute money to voters in Nizamabad.
Yashki fled the spot on the bike, as the situation got worsen. Police have reached the spot and disbursed the mob and making further investigation.
PCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy condemned the attack on Yashki’s car, saying that this case needs a deep investigation. This kind of attacks has no place in a democratic country like India, he added.
