EC Officials Can Alter Poll Results
While the last phase of Lok Sabha elections is still remaining to go on 19th May, the parties, as well as oppositions, are all worried about the results which will be declared on23rd May. Despite the Electronic Vending Machines (EVM) Election Commission (EC) official can make or mar the poll results.
The polling in this Lok Sabha elections have been done by millions of people all over India and their votes are sealed in EMVs, but the loopholes in the overall counting process may mess up with the results. The readings are been taken by officials in a closed room with the wire mesh around the table, where counting agents are unable to keep a watch on exact counting done by counting supervisors. While the total number of votes cannot be changed the addition can be made.
This all leads to the faulty manually counting system, in short, the fate of the party or the candidate and the country may be depending on the EC officials more than the public.
