The government has been keeping restrictions on over 3 kilometers of a radius in the Collectorate and Mukaramapuram area. Furthermore, door-to-door collecting of details has also been started by the government.
On the orders from Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar, City Mayor Y Shekar Rao along with Medical and Health officials are participating in the health survey and suggesting the people not to come and stay in their houses until further information is released.
People suffering from cold and cough have been visiting in numbers to their nearest hospital. However, most of the suspected cases have been referred to the Gandhi Hospital with no one found with the coronavirus symptoms yet.
Most of the people following the government orders remained indoors by closing their shops, hotels and other business voluntarily. The entire city looked deserted and it appeared that curfew had been imposed in the entire district.
