Expected List of Telangana Congress Candidates
Party insiders claim that tomorrow will see the unveiling of the first Congress list for the Telangana Assembly elections. According to reports, the High Command has approved the names of candidates for around 65 positions. A long list of names is being displayed.
Congress is getting ready for the battle of the assembly elections. This includes taking strategic actions. It appears that the party's Central Election Committee has finished working on the candidate list. About seventy individuals on the list have received the green light.
It is evident from previous experiences that the Congress must exercise great caution in this round of candidate selection. In many constituencies when there is competition amongst the candidates, the screening committee will go more into the matter. This list looks like it will be out shortly as well. The names in it are probably going to be almost at the top of the list.
