Famous confidential award with no jury ? - Rahul Gandhi congratulates PM Modi for wining First-ever Philip Kotler award
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday was awarded the “first ever” Philip Kotler Presidential Award by the World Marketing Summit India. senior leaders of the BJP – including Union ministers Piyush Goyal and Smriti Irani, chief minister of Manipur N. Biren Singh, and former chief ministers Raman Singh and Vasundhara Raje – were swift to congratulate the prime minister over social media for winning the newly instituted award.
However, Rahul Gandhi in a sarcastic way has congratulated Modi for winning the famous award claiming it to be an award which had no jury. He tweeted saying, "I want to congratulate our PM, on winning the world famous "Kotler Presidential Award"! In fact, it's so famous it has no jury, has never been given out before and is backed by an unheard of Aligarh company,"
It is creating a new wave on Twitter with even CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechur also writing on Twitter, "My personal congratulations to Narendra Modi for winning the world's 'first-ever' 'very confidential award'. No one else could have won this award."
