Former MP Sivaprasad Dies at 68

Senior TDP leader and former MP N Sivaprasad died due to renal failure on Saturday. He was 68. He lived with his wife and two daughters. He had been suffering from kidney ailment for some time now and a few days back, he was admitted to the hospital in Tirupati. Later, he was shifted to Apollo hospitals in Chennai, where he died. TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu visited Sivaprasad in the hospital on Friday.
Sivaprasad is not only a politician but also a good actor. He has acted in several films as a comedian and also as a villain. He also received the Nandi award from the AP government as the best villain. Sivaprasad was elected to the Lok Sabha from Chittoor constituency two times and also served as a member of Parliament in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Minister for Information and Public Relations in the Chandrababu Naidu cabinet.
Chandrababu Naidu, AP Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy and others have paid their condolences to Sivaprasad. “Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Sri YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed grief over the death of former MP and Ex-Minister Sri N. Siva Prasad and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members,” CMO Andhra Pradesh said.
“Saddened on hearing the passing away of a close family friend, former MP and actor, Dr. N Siva Prasad garu. May his soul rest in peace. My condolences to his family & friends.. The unique style adopted by him to fight for AP's Rights is unforgettable,” politician Jay Galla said.
