Gaddar Had to Wait 3 Hours at KCR's Gate
Both Chief Minister KCR and the late Praja Waggeyakaradu Gaddar were important to Telangana's goal of becoming an independent state.
Gaddar was known as the leader of the Telangana movement and a voice for the poor. Even after the state was made, he continued to work. He tried to meet CM KCR twice, but KCR didn't let him in.
On February 28, 2023, Gaddar had to wait for hours in the sun near Pragati Bhavan, but he was unable to meet KCR.
On social media, a picture was shared of Gaddar sitting at the gate of Pragati Bhavan with a clean-shaven face. This led to criticism of KCR. This event, along with others, shows how far apart KCR and Gaddar are thought to be.
Gaddar, like many other campaigners, seemed to move away from KCR's group after the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) came to power.
Gaddar had also tried to build a library in Venkatapur, Alwal, in honor of his son. When he asked the government for land for this reason, they gave it to him at market value, which he couldn't pay. Even though he asked for a deal, no one answered him.
Gaddar died around the same time that KCR started talking in the Legislative Assembly, which is a strange coincidence.
Even though KCR heard that Gaddar had died while he was speaking, he never mentioned Gaddar during his two-hour and twenty-minute talk.
Many people were saddened by this absence because they thought the assembly session might end because Gaddar had died. Gaddar's followers were upset that KCR didn't say anything about it.
