Godavari Water Sharing: Jagan Overwhelmed, Praises KCR

The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy has expressed his warm approval over Godavari water sharing between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He also praised the Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandrasekhar Rao for his benevolence.
During the assembly session, Jagan quoted, “The lift irrigation project on the Godavari would come up in Telangana territory and the water would be diverted to Nagarjuna Sagar and Srisailam reservoirs for the consumption of the two Telugu states. We should be thankful to KCR”
The question was raised by TDP MLA Nimmala Ramanaidu who wanted information about the status of irrigation projects in the state. He accused Jagan of playing double standards, as Jagan opposed the Kaleswaram project when he was opposition leader and now he attended its inauguration.
The developing friendship between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chief Ministers is evident from various statements they make about each other’s work and collaboration with which they are moving their reigns ahead.
