Govt to Announce New Districts of AP
After AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy ordered to initiate the process of forming additional districts in the state, Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA) started working on it.
Based on the limits of parliamentary constitutions, new districts will be introduced in the state. 12 new districts are said to be added.
As there are 13 districts currently, AP will soon have 25 districts! The government will announce the names of new districts on July 15th and it will complete the works of division by September 15th.
After completing the division process, the AP government will conduct the Parishad and local body elections.
If everything goes according to the plan, the local body elections will be held in November 2019.
