Prime Minister Narendra Modi is celebrating his 69th birthday today. Wishes poured in on the social media by his fans and supporters. Twitter is flooded with wishes and top seven trends on the micro-blogging site are related to wishing him a happy birthday.

The Prime Minister began his day by visiting ‘Statue of Unity’ and Sardar Sarovar Dam in Gujarat. The offered prayers to river Narmada, the lifeline of Gujarat. He then visited Cactus garden and took a tour of Jungle Safari in Kevadiya. He released colorful butterflies at the Butterfly Park in Kevadiya. Following his every year’s custom, Prime Minister will visit his home in Gandhinagar to seeks blessings of his mother.

BJP is celebrating his birthday week as ‘Seva Saptah’, where every BJP member will either take part in cleaning or donating blood or just helping the needy. BJP workers from across the country are celebrating this special day by cutting the cake. A fan of his offered 1.25 kg gold crown to Lord Hanuman in Varanasi to mark the Prime Minster’s birthday.
