High Court Grants Chandrababu Naidu Temporary Relief with Interim Orders

TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has been granted temporary reprieve by the High Court. The Court has issued interim orders preventing Chandrababu Naidu's arrest until Monday, the 16th, in the Inner Ring Road case, and until Thursday, the 12th, in the Angallu case. These orders were issued following a plea made by Chandrababu's lawyer, Dammalapati Srinivas, during a hearing held on Wednesday. Srinivas assured the court of Chandrababu's full cooperation with the ongoing investigations.
In response to the request, the court instructed government lawyers to engage with the CID and the Home Department to discuss the matter. The Attorney General, Sriram, informed the court that a PT warrant is pending in the ACB court, emphasizing that the consideration of anticipatory bail for Chandrababu at this stage should not be entertained. After weighing the arguments presented by both sides, the bench decided to issue interim orders for both cases.
