High Court to seek explanation on Naidu's security downgrade

The high court now seeks an explanation for the alleged security reduction of former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu from the Andhra Pradesh government. The high court judge panel headed by U Durga Prasad Rao has asked the government to tell the security details of Chandrababu Naidu. There were a long argument and counter-argument between both the sides and the high court will now wait till 9th July for the government's reply in the further hearing.
Dammalapati Srinivasa Rao, an advocate of Chandrababu Naidu, argued that the government has reduced his security in a step by step manner. He claimed that Chandrababu Naidu deserves Z + security. However, the government has been just providing 2+2 security to him. Chandrababu Naidu's advocate claimed that there is a grave threat to the security of Chandrababu Naidu from smugglers and Maoists, due to some of the tough decisions taken by him during his tenure as a chief minister. The advocate also reminded the court regarding the attack on Chandrababu Naidu in the year 2003 which shows the serious threat posed to his life. The advocate also put light on the security reduction of Chandrababu Naidu's family members.
Advocate general Sriram who is representing the government, however, clarified that there is no reduction in the security of former chief minister. Home Minister M Suchitra claimed that they will furnish all the details to the court regarding the security of Chandrababu Naidu. She further added that a jammer and the bulletproof car has been arranged along with another security setup for Chandrababu Naidu which will ensure his security to the fullest extent. Advocate General Sriram even put light on the fact that Chandrababu should be given security of 58 security staff, however, the government has provided him of 74 security staff.
Amidst, all the claims and counter-claims, everybody is just waiting for July 9 for the next hearing. The government is now in its toe to clarify security details closely.
