INR 6.9 Cr. Funds reserved for Rythu Bandu
Telangana Government has announced to offer Rs 6.9 Crore relief fund for the state farmers. The announcement was officially made by the officials from the New Cabinet government.
The government has announced to offer this assistance to the farmers of the state, under the Rythu Bandhu Scheme. With the latest announcement, it is obvious that the farmers certainly do have a reason to rejoice and celebrate. As per government notifications, the funds will be made available to the farmers, at the time of Kharif season.
As per TRS party, ever since its victory after 2018 December elections, the government has decided to offer this relief fund as its first installment. It certainly has been a long waiting period for the farmers to claim for financial assistance.
The latest guidelines released by new Cabinet Ministers, each of the eligible farmers shall be offered with Rs 5000 for every acre of land owned by the farmer. In the previous cabinet, this amount was only equivalent to Rs 4000 per acre of the land hold.
The government officials have also made it clear that the assistance shall be offered to the farmers before the Kharif season so that they can get started with the farming activities.
For paying the amount amongst all farmers, statewide, it is expected that it may take around three weeks time period. This statement was officially made by Ch. Parthasaradhi (principal Secretary) – agricultural department.
The statements have also been released that around 4.11 lakh beneficiaries under the scheme are from Nalgonda District alone.
