ISRO prepares for the launch of Chandrayaan-3.
On Wednesday, at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, the Indian Space Research Organisation coupled the enclosed assembly housing the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft with LVM3, its new heavy lift launch vehicle.
To prove complete capabilities in landing and exploring the Moon, the Chandrayaan-3 mission will follow up on the previous mission, Chandrayaan-2. The national space agency, based in Bengaluru, said on Twitter, The Chandrayaan-3 capsule and the LVM3 being joined together today at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. ISRO has set the dates of July 13–19 for the launch of the Chandrayaan-3 mission. "We are targeting July 13 for launch," an ISRO official said.
