If Sharmila Joins YCP, We Lose Deposits.
Andhra Pradesh's ruling YSRCP party is having difficulty coming to terms with the tragic death of a 15-year-old boy who was reportedly murdered and set on fire by a local YCL goon. Raghu Rama, a defecting member of parliament for the party, has now speculated that the party may be losing deposits in several electoral districts.
The alliance between TDP and Jana Sena for the upcoming election is virtually certain. BJP may also decide to work with them. If that's the case, we can finally shut the book on YCP.
Similarly, Sharmila has announced her intention to join forces with the Congress party in Telangana. There is a high probability that YCP will lose deposits in twenty, forty, or even more Andhra Pradesh constituencies if she runs there as well. Says Raghu Rama.
As RRR pointed out, with all the parties in the state now working together, the YCP will need help navigating the shifting political dynamics.
