In the Laddu case, the Supreme Court criticizes Chandrababu.
On Monday, the Supreme Court interrogated Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) N Chandrababu Naidu for prematurely announcing that the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu (YSR) Congress Party's previous regime used inferior ghee that contained animal fat to make laddus at the Sri Venkateswara temple in Tirupati.
Judges BR Gavai and KV Viswanathan's bench stated that there is now insufficient evidence to support the claim and questioned the need for a public declaration on the matter given that the State had already ordered an investigation into the accusations.
Justice Gavai also inquired as to whether the Chief Minister had any evidence that would prove beyond a reasonable doubt that laddus from the Hindu shrine in Andhra Pradesh—where Lord Venkateswara is revered—had been prepared using animal fat. "You still haven't responded. Nothing indicates that ghee was utilized.
These procedures are employed to support the denial and halt payment. The beach expressed and questioned the necessity of Chandrababu appearing before the media without undergoing additional verifications and testing.
