Indian Appointed CTO of Leading US Newspaper
As Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Vineet Khosla, a former leader at Apple and Uber, will work for The Washington Post. Along with The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post is one of the top daily newspapers in the United States.
Beginning on July 31, Khosla will manage the newspaper's technical team and innovation strategy in addition to acting as a senior adviser to the CEO.
Khosla has about 20 years of expertise in the IT sector and has a foundation in machine learning and artificial intelligence. He hopes to improve the reader experience and lead digital initiatives in his new job, and he showed joy and modesty about it.
Patty Stonesifer, the interim CEO of The Post, thinks that Khosla is the best person to take the magazine through its next stage of innovation due to his broad history in technology, especially in fields like artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing.
Khosla wants to create a user ecology that is revolutionary, promotes development, and preserves the newspaper's dedication to democracy and truth.
