Israel Launches Airstrikes on Iran, Hits Military Targets

In a dramatic escalation, Israel has launched airstrikes on Iran, targeting critical military infrastructure in Tehran and western provinces such as Kermanshah and Hamedan. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that around 20 fighter jets executed the operation, deploying over 30 munitions on high-value strategic targets.
According to an IDF statement, the strikes focused on missile depots, radar installations, satellite communication hubs, and intelligence facilities. A key surface-to-air missile launcher near Tehran was also destroyed. The air raid was reportedly intelligence-driven, aiming to impair Iran’s missile development and surveillance capabilities.
Iranian state media acknowledged explosions near the capital, particularly in areas housing military sites, including the sensitive Parchin complex. Separately, Iran's ISNA news agency reported a drone strike in Isfahan province that hit an ambulance, killing three individuals including a patient, a driver, and a companion. Local authorities claimed the vehicle was not linked to any combat activity.
