It Is An Insult To PM Modi: Jayadev Galla

The Home Ministry has released a new political map of India some time ago, but without Amaravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh and it has shocked many. TDP MP Jayadev Galla on Thursday in Lok Sabha has raised the issue. He said that it is not only an insult to the people of AP but also to the Prime minister who laid the foundation stone in 2015. “#Amaravati, the #Capital of AP, not featuring in the new political map issued by MHA, is an insult to not just AP, but also the Hon. PM, who laid the #foundation stone for its development. During Zero Hour, requested GoI to reissue the map showing Amaravati as Capital of AP,” he tweeted.

“The contention that there was no gazette notification issued is a frivolous and trivial argument,” he added. If this map goes out, it will show a negative effect on the flow of investments into our state, he said. He requested the government to take immediate action to resolve the issue. “A revised map showing Amaravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh should be released soon,” Galla said.
He also said that YCP's decisions are not only lessening confidence in investors but also they are damaging the country’s image all over the world. “While one investor has forever closed its doors on the State, others are threatening #Indian Govt with legal action against AP,” said Galla, sharing the newspaper images which are conveying the same.
