Jagan KodiKathi Case Speed Up by NIA
The National Investigation Agency has speed up the 'Kodi Katthi' case of YS Jagan. On Thursday night, the suspect Srinivas Rao is taken into NIA's custody and is shifted from Vizag to Vijayawada. He will be produced before the third metropolitan magistrate before probing the case more.
On January 4th, the NIA has registered a case based on a grievance by CISF commando. The NIA officers are proceeding in the case as per the directions of the court. They received orders from the court to take the suspect into their custody. The NIA additionally filed a petition seeking the proof in connection with the case from the Andhra Pradesh police.
Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh government has approached the high court vacation bench over NIA taking the case. A petition has been filed by the AP government objecting NIA's involvement.
