Jagan and KCR join hands to settle building related issues
Telangana state and Andhra Pradesh state governments join hands together to sort out a long term pending issue related to vacating disputed plot. The major step was taken by the two state governments on 3rd June 2019 – Sunday.
As a part of the new drive, orders relating making use of Vacant Government buildings, in Greater AP – Hyderabad, have been issued by the Governor ESL Narasimhan.
As per recent updates, the Capital City has been shared jointly by the two states, right after the separation for 10 years. It has also been stated that AP state would be allotted with a separate building for accommodating its civil service candidates. A separate wing would also be offered to them for setting up major government-run offices.
As a part of this move, the J, K, L and H blocks within the state Secretariat including North and South blocks will also be allotted to the Telangana state government authorities. The sources have also stated that the AP state government will be in control of over a Hundred government departments in the complex.
Back in June 2014, at the time of Telangana state formation, A, B, C and D blocks were officially allocated and unified along with the AP government. The major step was then taken by the state governor to form the Secretariat complex. This was done under the 5th Section of 2014 ACT for reorganization.
As per the latest information, the major step has been taken right after the Lok Sabha elections by the new government formed to help resolve this ever-rising issue in both states.
