Jagan government filed all fake charges to avoid Naidu: Nara Lokesh, general secretary of the TDP
TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh returned to the Yuva Galam Padayatra on Monday, commencing from Podalada in the Razole Assembly seat of Konaseema district, after a 79-day break. Speaking at a public gathering in Tatipaka, he said that TDP leader and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu had been imprisoned in the AP State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) case by manipulation of the systems by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
If Naidu was detained for 53 days on bogus allegations, he questioned where Jagan should be sent for embezzlement of public funds totaling ~43,000 crore and being named as an accused in 38 cases. Recalling that the TDP had faced difficulties in the past, Lokesh reminded the populace that the Telugu people had battled to have NTR restored as Chief Minister after the fall of the NT Rama Rao administration.
He said that since Jagan was terrified of the TDP head, the YSRC administration had filed fictitious lawsuits about skill development, FiberNet, the alignment of the Amaravati Inner Ring Road, and anomalies in the sand and liquor policies of the former TDP regime in order to stop Naidu from drawing attention to the public concerns.
