Srinivas who is accused of the attack on YSR Congress chief and leader of opposition YS Jaganmohan Reddy has finally decided to file a petition for bail.
Since the attack, he is under remand in the central prison at Rajahmundry. The remand period of Srinivas will end on Feb 8 but there are chances it might be extended till Feb 22.
Srinivas's counsel Advocate Saleem said that Srinivas is crying for freedom and that he will move the bail petition in the NIA special court in Vijayawada either on Friday or Monday.
Jagan was attacked by Srinivas with a knife in the VIP lounge of the Vizag airport on October 25 last year and he was in remand since then. He had earlier decided not to file a petition for bail fearing that his life was in danger outside. However, he seems now to be frustrated and has decided to go for filing a petition.
