KCR To Construct 2,602 Rythu Vedikas In Telangana

As a part of a new Agriculture Policy, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will construct Rythu Vedika in Erravelli village where his farmhouse is located.
Reportedly, he will bear all his expenses and the facility will be equipped with advanced technology including video conference facility to disseminate information to the farmers about the crops.
The decision was taken after a meeting with Collectors which was conducted to finalise the plan of action for the implementation of the policy.
The Rythu will also provide suggestions from the field experts and government’s assistance to the farmers. In regard of this, agricultural officials will discharge their duties from the Vedika in all villages.
KCR has also asked the MLAs to volunteer for the set-up of New facility and also seek assurance from the philanthropists and outside donors also.
Also, he wanted the strict implementation of the new crop system under which the farmer will have to cultivate crops as recommended by the government. The benefit of Rythu Bandhu will be extended to those who practiced the new crop system.
