KCR To The Launch Of National Party BRS

KCR, the TRS president and chief minister, met with ministers, MPs, and senior party leaders to discuss the party's strategy for the July 18 presidential election, as the deadline for nominations, June 29, is less than 20 days away.
Bharatiya Rashtra Samiti (BRS) will be launched by the end of the month as an alternative political party for the Lok Sabha elections due in 2024.
According to reports, party leaders unanimously approved his proposal and commended the chief minister for playing such an important role in national politics.
However, no decision was made about the TRS's position. Further meetings will be held after the names of the candidates of the NDA and UPA become clear and what majority of the regional parties decide.
It was decided to await the outcome of the Congress' ongoing efforts to field a joint opposition candidate and the meeting between Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge and regional party leaders Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, M.K. Stalin, H.D. Deve Gowda, Mamata Banerjee, etc.
A majority of the leaders reportedly opined that the TRS should support the joint Opposition candidate fielded by regional parties and Left parties minus Congress, and the TRS should not support a candidate proposed by Congress.
