KCR Urges People: Follow COVID Appropriate Behavior And Get Vaccinated.

CM K Chandrashekhar Rao on Sunday said the government was fully prepared to deal with any eventuality on the Omicron variant of the Covid-19 front. Still, he urged the people of the Telangana to remain cautious, adopt appropriate Covid behavior, and, more importantly, ensure that they get vaccinated with a sense of responsibility.
The CM directed the officials to immediately administer the two regular doses of the Covid vaccine to all senior citizens and frontline warriors in the State, including healthcare and sanitation workers, beginning Monday. He urged all eligible persons to get themselves vaccinated without fail.
The CM reviewed the preparedness in the wake of an increase in Covid cases in the State at Pragathi Bhavan. The vaccination programme is already underway for those aged between 15 and 18 years, and parents should ensure that their children get vaccinated without fail, he said.
The CM reiterated that the people of the Telangana State need not panic about the increasing cases of Covid but urged them to follow the Covid guidelines strictly. In his address, he stressed the importance of self-regulatory measures, including wearing masks, sanitizing, and maintaining physical distances in a responsible manner.
As part of his review, Rao examined the arrangements in government hospitals, the administration of vaccines, the availability of medications, and other matters.
