KCR is getting ready to hold its third public meeting in Maharashtra.
The leader of the BRS, also known as KCR, has pledged to organize farmers into committees by personally driving party vehicles to each of the states of Maharashtra's 288 villages. He also said that the state's rate of farmer suicide was the highest in the country.
He also questioned the cause of the water crisis in the western state, given that it is the source of major rivers like the Godavari and the Krishna.
Groups of activists and leaders have joined BRS separately in the presence of Rao over the past couple of months, suggesting the party is eager to expand and field candidates in Maharashtra.
