KT Rama Rao Criticizes Government for Failing to Fulfill Promises to Unemployed Youth
On Thursday, BRS working president KT Rama Rao declared that the party would support the unemployed and hold the government accountable for not fulfilling pre-election promises made to the youth. During a meeting at Telangana Bhavan with a group of unemployed youth and students, Rao criticized the government's inaction on job-related promises.
Rao highlighted that before the elections, the government had issued large-scale advertisements in newspapers about a job calendar, announcing dates and schedules for around ten exams. However, he pointed out that no notification had been issued since then and demanded their immediate release.
KTR reminded that the Chief Minister had promised to increase 2,000 jobs in Group-2 and Group-3 categories during the elections. However, in the first Cabinet meeting, the government falsely assured the unemployed of a forthcoming mega DSC. He also noted that only 60 jobs were added to Group-1 positions, compared to those announced by the previous government.
Rao emphasized that when the government is asked to increase jobs, it often deflects by citing technical reasons. He asserted that the BRS would not spare the government and would stand by the unemployed, vowing to fight for their cause.
