KT Rama Rao says the Telangana model would expose Modi's phoney model.
IT Minister and BRS Working President KT Rama Rao have claimed that rolling out the Telangana model nationally is necessary to expose Modi and his party for who they are. Rao claimed Modi had become Prime Minister by fooling the people by showcasing the phoney Gujarat model.
The BRS's primary goal was to ensure that farmers in all states could reap the same rewards as their counterparts in Telangana. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's entry into national politics was inevitable, Rama Rao said at a party conference in the Sircilla Constituency, and the decision had already received a massive welcome from the people of Aurangabad and Bhokar and Kandhar Loha in Nanded.
He questioned why farmers in the Yavatmal district were committing suicide if Modi, who came to power in 2014 promising to double farmers' income, had fulfilled his promise. If the BJP had done a great job, why were Maharashtra farmers welcoming Chandrashekhar Rao, who had no prior introduction to them, that too with the slogan of 'Ab ki Baar Kisan Sarkar'?
Telangana, a very tiny state, has taken steps in the past nine years to safeguard its farmers' interests through several programs. Investments in farming, power generation, and water distribution totalled $4.5 trillion. However, the Center has not made any improvements to the lives of farmers.
