KTR Hits Back At Modi Remarks: BJP Will Work To End Telangana's Dynastic Rule,

PM Narendra Modi met the BJP corporators from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation on June 7, and expressed confidence that the party would work for good governance and end the "dynastic misrule" in Telangana.
After Putting up an Impressive Electoral performance, the BJP is eying the southern state for big gains, including in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, Assembly bypolls, and Hyderabad municipal polls.
Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Union minister G Kishan Reddy, also from the state, accompanied them.
"Met @BJP4Telangana corporators in GHMC and other party leaders from Telangana. We had wide-ranging discussions on how to focus on community service endeavours and help people at the grassroots. BJP will work for good governance and ending dynastic misrule in Telangana," Modi said in a tweet.
Responding to the PM, Telangana IT Minister KTR said, “Modi Ji, Community service endeavours?! Are you running a govt or an NGO? Any update on flood relief funds for Hyderabad? Any monetary support for Musi rejuvenation or Hyd Metro extension? Any update on ITIR? Mere lip service for Hyderabad/Telangana and funds only for Gujarat.”
CM KCR, who heads the ruling TRS in the southern state, has been working to shore up support for an anti-BJP alliance at the national level. The BJP has been unable to make much gains in south India outside Karnataka. Still, its recent show in Telangana has infused the party with the hope of ensuring a strong presence in another southern state. The party is also holding its national executive meeting in Hyderabad next month.
