KTR Takes Safe Hands Challenge

IT Minister KT Rama Rao urged people to understand the gravity of the situation and maintain self-discipline to contain the spread of Covid-19 in the State.
TRS working President and IT & Industries Minister KT Rama Rao emphasized the need for people to stay at home and follow the state government’s decision to impose a statewide lockdown that was a rare action.
The Minister urged the state people to understand the gravity of the situation and maintain self-discipline to contain the spread of Coronavirus in the State.
“The government took such extreme decision only in the wake of the grave situation prevailing,” he tweeted.
KTR also participated in the Safe Hands Challenge to create awareness on washing hands with soap water for at least 20 seconds. He accepted the challenge from different people and stressed the need for personal hygiene that was crucial to break the chain and contain the novel COVID-19 outbreak.
He nominated PM Narendra Modi, Union Ministers Hardeep Singh Puri and Piyush Goyal, AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff and actor Amitabh Bachchan to participate in the challenge.
