KTR : Telangana Is A State With Surplus Budget

It is claimed that the BJP is playing diversionary politics to divert attention from public issues, and Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao said the people of Telangana would never be asked to decide which god is greater.
KTR was speaking in a programme at Dr. BR Ambedkar Open University that brought out study material for the candidates preparing for competitive exams. KTR said that no matter how much one can boast, India is still a poor country.
As Telangana has a surplus budget, Rao said that the budget is being used for public welfare. According to him, Telangana is the only state in the 75 years of India's independence to provide safe drinking water to every house. After overcoming many obstacles, a new zonal system has also been introduced to ensure 90% of the jobs go to the locals.
According to KTR, it was not possible for the government to provide employment opportunities for every household, therefore they were attracting investment and creating jobs in the private sector.
For BJP leaders to criticize him without filling lakhs of vacancies at the Centre is foolish. KTR said that the ultimate goal of water, funds, and recruitment, which were the slogans of the Telangana movement, were achieved.
