KT Rama Rao claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had not approved any funding for Telangana despite the State's loss of Rs 1 lakh crore due to the Covid pandemic.

Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development KT Rama Rao has stated that Telangana's welfare activity has never been halted despite the lack of cooperation from the Centre.

The peak power demand in Andhra Pradesh as a whole was 13,117 MW. However, in Telangana, this amounted to 16,000 MW. He also mentioned that the Telangana government had increased the ST reservation quota to 10% from 6% and that the State government was spending Rs 10,000 crore to provide quality power to the people. The Chief Minister also realised a long-held tribal hope by transforming traditional tribal settlements into modern gramme panchayats.
