KTR promises to help a Hyderabad family to return their daughter's body From UK
Sai's sister, Priya Reddy, took to Twitter to appeal to the minister for assistance, explaining that the family had trouble navigating the bureaucratic hoops necessary to return Sai's remains to India.
IT Minister K T Rama Rao has been approached by the distraught sister of a young woman from Hyderabad named Sai Tejaswi Kamareddy, who passed away recently in the United Kingdom.
Sai's sister, Priya Reddy, took to Twitter to appeal to the minister for assistance, explaining that the family had trouble navigating the bureaucratic hoops necessary to return Sai's remains to India. My soul sister is passing away, and I need your help with the final rites," she tweeted.
In response to the appeal, the Minister expressed his condolences and promised to provide the necessary assistance. Your loss deeply saddens me. He tweeted, "My team @KTRoffice will work with the local British Deputy High Commissioner's team @UKinHyderabad to assist as soon as possible." A few days ago, Cranfield University announced the unexpected death of Sai Tejaswi, a master's student in aeronautics and space engineering. Her family claims that on April 11 she drowned in the ocean near Brighton Beach. Her remains have been preserved in a UK hospital since then.
Sai's loved ones started a GoFundMe to collect money for the flight of her body from the United Kingdom to India. They had planned to raise 20,000 pounds and had already collected 19,000 pounds by that night.
