KTR says Telangana wrote new medical, health sector chapter.
IT Minister KT Rama Rao said that Telangana's journey in the medical and health sector was a new part in the history of the country's medical and health sector. With the improvements made to government hospitals over the last nine years, the State's public health system has become a model for the rest of the country.
He said that the Rajanna-Sircilla district was a great example of how this change was happening. He also said that the Sircilla district headquarters and the Vemulawada regional hospital were given new tools so that patients could get better care. The public's trust in government hospitals has grown over the last nine years, thanks to a number of steps taken by the State government. He said that since the State became its own entity, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has taken a number of steps to improve medical and health care. From KCR kits to Nutrition kits and from dialysis centers to diagnostic centers, each choice has been unique and important.
Rama Rao also gave KCR Nutrition kits to pregnant women here as part of the Health Day program.
Later, the minister opened a home for older people, a day care center, and a home for girls in Mandapalli of Thangallapalli mandal. He also put the foundation for a home for girls.
