KTR says the Congress, which is selling seats today, will sell Telangana tomorrow
Monday, the working president of the BRS, KT Rama Rao, stated that the Congress in Telangana was in the hands of a person who was previously arrested in the 'cash for note' case, and that the same person was now selling seats for between Rs 25 crore and Rs 40 crore. He was selling seats today, and if elected, he would sell Telangana itself tomorrow.
Complaining that the Congress never keeps its promises, Rama Rao stated that Congress leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, who served as IT Minister in the Congress administration, did nothing for Nalgonda. He stated this while addressing a crowd in Suryapet following the inauguration of the IT Tower there. He was unable to procure even a computer for a single person.
In rebuttal to the opposition parties' criticism of the BRS, he asserted that the Congress, whose warranty had expired 100 years prior, was making guarantees that the State's citizens would not believe.
Rama Rao, who also placed the foundation stone for Rs.350 billion in development projects, stated that the Congress party was founded 150 years ago and that its warranty had expired 100 years ago. He stated that Congress did not exist in the state, and as a result, the guarantees it provided were worthless.
In response to Komatireddy Venkat Reddy's challenge that he would leave politics if the BRS could prove that 24 hours of free power was being supplied, Rama Rao stated that the government would provide a bus for Congress leaders to visit the location and time of their choosing and touch the live wire to determine whether electricity was being supplied. Even for six hours, the Congress could provide electricity to the agriculture sector, he said, daring Venkat Reddy to run in the Suryapet constituency and keep his deposit.
In attendance were Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy, Rajya Sabha member Badugula Lingaiah Yadav, and district MLAs.
