Karnataka minister C.S Shivalli dies of heart attack
Karnataka minister C.S. Shivalli, 58, had a heart attack on Friday. He was rushed to a hospital where he took his last breath.
He had complained of fever and vomiting post which he was admitted to the hospital. He had a history of heart disease.
He has been MLA from Kundagol constituency for three times and is survived with his wife and three children. Shivalli’s political career began in 1996 with him joining the Congress. However, his first victory in the assembly election was as an independent candidate in 1999. Thereafter he was elected twice from the Congress - in 2013 and 2018.
His remains are kept for public viewing today and will later be taken to his village for his last rites.
