Kavitha Meets CM KCR After CBI Questioning.

After CBI officials, including a woman officer, questioned BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha for over 7 hours regarding the alleged Delhi liquor scam case; later, Kavitha reached Pragathi Bhavan to meet her father, CM KCR. She reportedly spoke with her father for around 45 minutes before returning home.

In the Delhi liquor scam case, CBI questioned Kavitha for more than seven hours at her residence in Hyderabad. In Banjara Hills, a team of CBI officials examined the BRS's Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) about the facts she may know of in the case. In two vehicles, including a woman, the officials arrived around 11 a.m., and the questioning began shortly after that.

As per CBI Kavitha's statement under Section 160 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The questioning was not officially announced. After 6 p.m., the central agency team left. The surroundings of Kavitha's house were deserted before the arrival of the CBI officials, as she had requested her supporters, BRS leaders, and workers not to gather there.

According to BRS sources, this was done as a gathering that might be seen as an attempt to create obstacles in the CBI investigation.CBI, in the notice to Kavitha, had mentioned that the case was registered based on the written complaint received from Praveen Kumar Rai, Director in the Union Home Ministry, against Delhi Deputy CM of Delhi, Manish Sisodia and 14 others regarding the allegations about excise policy of Delhi for 2021-22.
