Kavitha says BRS wants 95-100 seats
MLC K Kavitha claimed the BRS wanted to win 95–100 seats in the November 30 Telangana assembly elections. She told PTI that the Central government assessment found Telangana to be the least corrupt state.
Kavitha asked why the BJP was now “silent” on Enforcement Directorate proceedings against various Congress officials, including Sonia Gandhi, undermining Rahul Gandhi's claim that the BRS was the B-Team.
Kavitha said Rahul Gandhi should do his study before campaigning in any state, especially on his corruption allegations against Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
Unfortunately, Rahul Gandhiji is not a leader. He reads whatever texts are given to him. She denied the charges, saying the Central government assessment found the State to be the least corrupt in the country.
Kavitha described the BRS government's accomplishments over the last decade. In 2014, Telangana was split from Andhra Pradesh, and its budget was Rs.69,000 crore, which is currently around Rs 3 lakh crore. State per capita income rose almost thrice from Rs 1.24 lakh in 2014 to Rs 3.12 lakh.
The Congress politician accused BRS, BJP, and AIMIM of working together, but Kavitha stated, “We are not in alliance with anybody. The AIMIM party will always be our buddy. We never formed an alliance in the past two periods or this time, she remarked.
