Lead for Naidu In Initial Trends

As the results of Lok Sabha and assembly elections are now coming out, despite the exit polls Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is at the lead by 1500 votes from Kuppam assembly constitution.
YRCP'S K. Chandramouli was defeated by TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu in the assembly elections of 2014.
On April 11, 2019, along with the general elections, voting for the high-profile seat took place amid incidents of violence involving the TDP and YSRC workers. Andhra Pradesh saw 73% voter turnout in the single-phase assembly elections in the 175-member state assembly, TDP has 102 MLAs opposition YSRCP has 67 MLAs whereas BJP has four legislators while two seats are for others.
